Support for the homeless

Currently, it is difficult to find the exact number of homeless people, even more so if they are homeless and sleeping rough. When a person is considered homeless, it means that they spent the previous night in an accommodation service or in a place that is not suitable for habitation. In France, there are more than 300,000 homeless people, 50% are people in the age group of 30-49 years, 27% of 18-29 years and 23% are over 50 years old. In 2020, 535 people died on the street, the life expectancy of the homeless is 49 years on average against 82 years for a person with a suitable place of residence.
